This is a new moon week, that's the good news. There really isn't bad news it's just that it seems many peeps don't like the dark of the moon. In this phase of the moon each month we have a peek into the shadows, our own, our friends/family and of course the world at large. It's much easier to poke around in someone else's' then to investigate our own. This new moon will be at dawn Thursday PST making it Sagittarius Sun, Moon and Ascendant here on the left coast of America. Those murky parts of Scorpio, those depths that you can't see into are obliterated by the arrow of direction, decisions and focused passion. Whatever idea you latch onto will ride this momentum, so survey deeply and choose graciously. As they say, "live with reality or it will come to live with you!"

Saturn weighs in on this New Moon also, sitting in Leo, the difference between where your hearts at and where your feet are walking is obvious. It's time for attunements, which will happen anyway and always are more comfortable if they're voluntary, so use the early week, don't miss the hints, signs and synchronicities that attract your attention. They are as important traffic lights and road signs for the soul.

Mercury goes direct after a retrograde cycle, good week to look back at missed appointments, fickle machinery, miscommunications and clumsiness' that have been in your life since mid-November. Is there a thread there? Can worrying and letting your mind wander actually make you loose your keys? Can there be a message in the miscues? Truly the answer is YES, it's up to us to get fluid and sensitive to the patterns.

Monday we wake into the Scorpio moon. Of course Scorpio gets tagged with the 'sexy' moniker. Mainly 'cause it represents the deeper motivations. That which is influential but hidden. The Sun squares Uranus, not just yours but everyone's! and the Moon trines it shortly after. Mysteries and secrets can surface in surprising and new ways. Even things we've kept from ourselves. Seek out those in your circle you're clear with, delve into some of the deep, mantic arts and ability to see beyond the veil. Like diving it's good to take a buddy with you. This is the easier of the two days of the Scorpio transit today is all about mysterious revolutionary ways we have been think/feeling or could be if we let go of some preconceptions and made room for the fresh ones.

On Tuesday the Scorpio Moon stands opposite Mars then quickly squares Saturn. This makes for a day with a lot of energy stored that is going to be released. So even if you have a permit leave the guns at home. Today you get a survey of the resistance in your world to looking at those old patterns of mind/body/heart much less implementing the fresh ideas you may be coddling. Don't hold back but be precise and grounded when you offer up or unveil the 'current plan'. Initial resistance internally or externally is often just an indicator that you really need to push through. It usually takes more energy NOT to do a task then to just quite mulling it over and do it! Mars and Saturn can be grumpy brothers at worst but working in harmony with then can get lasting results. Choose words carefully, a clumsy blurted out phrase can echo for weeks.

Wednesday we are at the darkest part of the moon, a day each month all the major religions and philosophies key on. The Moon hits on retrograde Mercury in the morning, giving some topspin to this cycle. It's a great day to really review all projects, proposals, contracts things of mind that are to exert some order and 'control' into your physical world. Control is a fuzzy concept anyway. Today you can catch the typos or arrangements that were overlooked. Use the internal review and scanner to alleviate some of the retrograde effects of Mercury. It's like weather; it's going to happen anyway but it's nice to know if you should take the heavy coat and gloves.

Thursday we make it to the New Moon! The Sabian Symbol for 10 degrees Sagittarius is, "In a pageant of progress a glorious little maid with golden hair enacts the part of the goddess of opportunity" So often the fresh ideas and opportunities are a bit fragile. You have to stand behind them in the present moment, not dragging the critic of the past or the naysayer of the future into it. Just planting you feet in a sense that gives traction and points towards the direction you want to head. Sure footing can be fleet like a dancer if you free it up and let it stand alone in the present. The New Moon happens very close to the degree Saturn is sitting so choices made or unmade now will have influence throughout the next couple of cycles. Dig down and make the choices from the deepest part of ourselves. That way the conflicts we face will only serve to strengthen you lock on your vision. Break the re- off of resolve and you get SOLVE!

Friday it gets solid and at the worst cases a bit rigid. Though if we're floating new directions out there don't you want to know what the bumps in the road are? Most of the relief and jubilance of getting a project or event off of the ground is knowing what you had to go through to get it there. If things run smoothly you know someone somewhere was putting out the fires and solving the problems. So if your direction comes from your depths you do want to know the snafu before it's fatal. Greet these knots in your rope with that attitude and the mind can offer up quicker, more creative solutions. The more you feel; 'this sucks!' the more it does, if you let that sink into the subconscious it will surely become a reality. This is a day to really discover the alternatives in your most bleak arenas of your life.

Saturday Mercury will be direct this evening! It takes a few days for her to regain momentum but there is a cheer to be raised! Now is the time to unleash those bridled plans and to unfurl the tangled sails. We're still in the Capricorn moon and things seem a bit cut and dried but that's very helpful when you're trying to survey and see how things really are in your world. Stark reality is much more helpful then floating fantasy. You don't have to take the 'road ahead' but if you know where it is and where it leads you can judge when and where you want to deviate from it and strike your own path.

Sunday the tethers of Capricorn give way to Aquarius, now the mind again sees many ways around every obstacle, almost to many. Mercury and Venus are in a tight aspect and so you can pick up on that constant conversation internally of what are your values and morals, how do you want to represent them to yourself and the outside world? The evening is supercharged with Mars and Jupiter in opposition. The two most expansive aspects pulling on each other. Use this vigorous energy and somehow get it in the body, dancing, hiking, some movement that lets you feel the replenished force within yourself. Tapping into that is the ultimate resource, strip off the re- and you have SOURCE. Knowing where it comes from and where you can get it is truly the resource rather then the thing itself. No matter pleasure or pain, loss or gain, we play it all out with this energy that we draw into ourselves.
