The week starts with a calendar day off for many, Presidents day; this is the day to hit the king with a rock of compassion, hopefully charging him to see the way things really are. Surely it's possible if we can think it, probable if we project it and assured if it's received. It's just a case of bad information, we can cure it from where we're at right now. The daytime of the first day of the week the moon is void of course off of Scorpio. A bit spacey and still with minds firing on the new and unusual. So if it's a workday for you try and shuffle a lot, don't make lasting guarantees and plan meetings with care, it's more a day to explore without direction. In the early evening the moon heads into Sagittarius. Now we have some clear directions popping up. The same mind through the weekend that couldn't focus is now making lists for the execution of the 'to do'. Often knowing the 'to don't' is as helpful and usually alot easier to get a grip on.

The moon is waning and now we can clearly sense the things that do not serve us and the things we wish to serve that we aren't. When we see that we have conflicting paths going there is the inclination to see how scattered we are. It's just the clear direction of Sagittarius, under this lens anyone looks like they are running in place or in the wrong direction. Use this time to set some intentions of what you want to clear, it's easy to see right now. By the new Moon early next week you'll have reviewed and cleaved away areas that are draining energy and be ready to implement your new found direction.

Often when confronted with a fresh way to view a tradition or way we've done things we have resistance. Change seems like work, it's just the unknown calling you to be comfortable with it. In a broader perspective even if it turns our world upside down we all would love some of our core issues shifted in a strong and drastic way. Meetings with groups today should be directed, stay to the agenda, but when it drifts off course, especially later in the day just let it go. Realize that a planning meeting turned into a brainstorm session and don't expect solid things to get done.

Early in the day we shift into a waning Moon in Capricorn. Now the desire for direction, study and travel gets a bottom line. If we really want to progress our being to the next level or enhance the one we have there are details to be dealt with. Capricorn is the seat of contracts, real estate and all things settled and concrete. The sextile touch of Mercury to Venus also vibrates in Capricorn as Venus is traveling through here. There is a chance to infuse the mundane details of our lives with a bit of sizzle and beauty. Today we can look at the group meetings we had this week and objectively get a grip on where these projects are really at. It's a cold vision so be careful when communicating it as what one sees as cold hard fact another can feel is just bitching. The moon moves past Venus in Capricorn tonight so you can experiment with making these normally boring and drudgery areas of life ring with some song and dance. Yes you can laugh and dance while paying the bills.

Now the linear parts of the early week unravel, we can take this fluidity of thought and seek out new and maybe crazy at first takes on the stuck areas of our lives. Look at the lists of things to do you have compiled, mental or physical and spin them around. There doesn't have to be any set order and sometimes a fresh concept is all that is needed to shift the mundane actions into a format that allows ease and freedom of execution. This is the perfect time to sit in an open frame of mind with people or projects that are knotted around something. Let the mind run into territory that may not be on the point. The possibility is that by wandering away you find a new way back and discover something we've overlooked by repetitious worrying.

Saturday

Today we are in the winds of Aquarius, the moon also aspects both Mars and Saturn. Trining Mars fresh in Gemini and in opposition to Saturn in Leo. This gives a special grounding to the normally spacey transit through Aquarius. Now we can really bring some conceptual fruits to our thought process. Particularly the areas of the heart and how they relate to our physical life. Often the arenas of the emotional and mental are separated from the physical until we get a stomach or headache. The upside is that they can also bring about physical health, vibrance and the energy to accomplish what we want. So today look at the small and repetitive actions we take as potential liberators. If you can't stop an action you think is unhealthy look at it in another way, bless it and try and elevate it to the sacred. Everything is holy in this way, so going to the bathroom consciously gives you a few times a day to be alone, get grounded and eliminate waste from the body. Making blessings and prayers a more conscious part of simple acts has immediate and transformative power.

This is the last day of the lunar cycle. Shiva Ratri for Hindu's and a huge day for pagans as well. Tomorrow the moon goes into Pisces and is fresh and new in the afternoon. Today get the house clean starting with ourselves. Take a break from the pace of what we call the real world. Move the furniture or reorganize the kitchen. Take some time to send up some prayers of gratitude. Most only call on the divine in times of strife or pain, divinity is not our banker or therapist. It's like the old friend that's with us through thick and thin. How often do we just say thanks for no reason? It's an exercise that increases the capacity of the anahatta chakra to work, thus empowering the physical and spiritual heart.
