There is an Lunar eclipse this week; it's like the full moon on crack and LSD, hyped to a bigger level. It's in Virgo so there shouldn't be any lack of mental awareness. It will flavor our whole week, in fact the whole fortnight until the other half of the Lunar coin the Solar eclipse on the 29th. So use this as a beginning into this cycle, you don't have to be drastic but it will help to be conscious, in fact it's vital. Of course you can believe the lore and literature at how ominous these eclipses are or you can see it as an amazing opportunity to use it to propel you forward into your reality.

The energy building to this full moon that is also a Lunar Eclipse is heavy on the mental plane today to start the week. Best to just watch the mind work, take care of the words you utter and the actions taken. The intuitive channel is open and if we're aware we can sift the barrage in the mind for clues to what the full moon can offer. It's going to be a fortnight of stripping away things places and people that are not in harmony with our evolution. Usually it's change itself that disturbs people not the changes made. So developing a different attitude towards change is an opportunity not to be missed right now.

The full moon, an eclipse combining Virgo and Pisces rules the day and the week. Mercury in Pisces trines Jupiter in Scorpio a couple of hours before the eclipse, lending a sense of expansion and internal communication. Sometimes messages from the dreams and subconscious can seem convoluted or just outright strange and without context. That's if we try to interpret them in our waking vision. Try and free them from this look at them as a great art film you saw, digest it slowly and don't try and draw a border around it. Eclipses always come in pairs, so having the full Moon first means we go through the waning cycle to get to the solar eclipse and renewal. We have the light of the Pisces Sun reflected back to us, just a blink in time if traveling at light speed but never the less still it's a bit of time travel. This combination of the mental and the intuitive can be potent and unusual for those without Pisces placements. Absorb all and then digest, just like food, it takes a lot of chewing to get all the nutrients.

Everything that happens inside this eclipse cycle, that is 14 days, will have influence until the next one. Each time the moon moves past these degrees each month until September when the next eclipse pairing happens. So issues, projects, relationships, careers, vocations, well just life as we know it can be condensed into this cycle. There is no time like the present to be who, what and where you want to be. It starts deep in the being as a sense and works it's way to the mind and then actions by the body.

First day of the eclipse cycle and Jupiter and Neptune tangle in a square. Truly the things driving us that are out of our control; addictions, habits and mental drives can be exposed and adjusted. With Jupiter and Neptune grappling they will certainly come up. We can just cruise on oblivious and say, "that's just the way I am" or dive into the roots and see if it's really the way we want to be. Often the addiction or action is just a blinking light on the dashboard and not the root or cause. So as the passions flow and the animal comes out take a peek and see what and why it's attracted to consuming certain things and taking certain actions. Comfort or security is the primary motivation even if it appears totally opposite to the condition. It's not drastic adjustments that are effective but slow deliberate and conscious awareness. With this often the things we can Ôbad habits' transform themselves instantaneously.

Quick before the moon sinks into Scorpio, use the Libra moon today for some personal diplomacy and have a round table meeting with yourself. With the vision of harmony the Libra Moon often brings it can be without harsh judgment and more on the topic of where do you want to be and how. When we are unsatisfied anything else looks good, we look at other realities like the travel section of the newspaper, wistful and with an edge of fantasy. What we really need is a clear and accurate perception of where we are at right now, clear and issue free. Knowing what you really love about your reality makes it easy to sort out what you don't really want. Then that room full of paper that needs cleaning or the conversation you've been needing to have with an intimate is easier as you know the source behind the motivation.

There is some Mars and Neptune in the air as the Moon trines both so there is plenty of energy to work with. No matter how much energy it's the craft that uses it that's important so don't forget the mundane physical being; treat it to some great food, a calm bath, in the air of nurturing an old friend. The rewards are a calmer and more directed heart and mind.

The Sun and Pluto form one of the three squares of the year. Like all outer planet aspects it isn't just at this moment but takes a few days to play out. It's putting the energy of intuition against the group will, that can be tough if you're not seeing eye to eye with the fanatics running the show. Instead of dismissing them out of hand we can look for the source in their motivations. As if governments and corporations were individuals, how would you perceive their actions?

In the afternoon the Moon moves into Scorpio and we have the cupboard of secrets opened up. Already the eclipse has done this so now it goes to a deeper level, we can also see other's cupboards. Secrets are funny things, by definition they don't exist because somebody knows them, so when entrusted with a secret first actualize if you even want to know, if someone says, "don't tell so and so butÉ" you can politely ask why they don't want to tell them and why they need to tell you. Usually secrets are just juicy and it's the lower part of our being that wants to be in the know, we derive a shallow sense of power from knowing something others don't. When tempted to be the one telling the secret remember that if you say something about someone that you don't say to them you deprive yourself of integrity and them of how you really feel.

Mercury is square Mars today and the moon still in Scorpio so there could be some weapon words flying. When we get into an argument or mental joust that is a repetitive one step back and take a breath. Usually there is a trigger and if found can be defused. These kinds of exchanges exist because none of the parties are aware of the motivation and where the actual difference of opinion is. In relationships we can become gravitated by the conflict no matter the subject. On the upside it's a great aspect for communicating something that you really feel strongly about, using these passions of the day to clearly and concretely say your piece. Communication can also be most effective if it's pure action that derives from a clear motivation, it doesn't have to be a speech. Better if it's really just a feeling and the words or actions come naturally from intuition. It's a good aspect for listening also, if there is someone in your life that isn't being clear today is a great day to invite him or her to the table.

This is the end of the Scorpio transit and if it hasn't been to taxing it would be an excellent time to have a secret exposure with yourself. Sitting for awhile off from the madness to see what's there, ask a few questions, simple ones that are often overlooked like: how are you, what do you want. Ask them a few times and listen rapped with attention as if you were listening to an attractive new friend you've just made. We don't do this enough, especially those that are involved in doing Ôthe work' of evolution. It's a simple thing that can have a long lasting and deep consequence, you have to be willing to sense and hear from yourself the unusual and unexpected. None of us know ourselves as deeply as we think we do. So to really sink in and use some quite time to search for some answers to the simple and overlooked questions is brave but also exponentially beneficial. The eclipsed moon is still calling us to seek out the vision that we want and prepare by the new moon to implement the actions that need to be taken. The first step is to clear the territory; it's always destruction before creation.
