It isn't a written test, all pass. It's a lot like a mini life, we have experienced birth-life-death during this and it's time to collect what we have and move through regeneration. It's the influence of any new moon; the integration of the reflection during the dark of the cycle, then the 'planting' of that seed; a repository of things we thought we knew but found out when didn't and they awareness of the things we need to know.

This is the carrot for the donkey, the spot of light on the horizon to move to for those concerned with evolution. For some it takes an instant to prepare for the new moon, others may be inclined to get more elaborate. We harvest the awareness we bring to anything we plant, initiating change in old areas takes a firm gentleness. Don't grip to tight; stretched wings take no effort you just have to feel for the direction of the wind.

Mercury and Uranus are within a degree of each other and the moon swings past both this morning. Blending communication with revolution. In the sense of a unique vision to the way things are. Especially in the area of intuition, group understanding the social, "ah ha" of gestalt. Maybe not alien spaceships but the day holds the opportunity to have flashes of savant dreamlike vision. It is the dark of the moon so many of the messages come deep in Pisces and now have the added influence of this phase of the moon. The moon is active with Jupiter and Mars in the evening, giving us a chance to actually do something with this vision. We don't have to 'figure it all out" like a class. It's life, so the evening we are able to just pull it down in the body in a simple fashion. Pamper yourself and anyone else that wants to with vibrant healthy foods, sounds and visions, some dancing, yoga and a vigorous walk in fresh surrounds wouldn't hurt.

By mid-day on the west coast the moon is in Aries. Enough of that mutable energy we have a fiery Aries moon approaching the sun for an eclipse. The astral dj's have definitely made a change and that cool ambient one has given way to some super groove with some great punk rock riffs. The dark side of this moon can get a bit lethal. Take care with how you talk to the person in the mirror, you will be seeing them again you know. It's a good time for setting some tough love internal advertising down though. It's powerful whatever practice you have. It's a great passage to also twist your normal style and get a bit freer with how you communicate with your deep self and divinity. Whether you believe in the divine or physics as your container of reality it's always has a huge effect to get assistance in the form of harmony with it by getting light and getting real. There is no time like right now to bury the past and accept the future.

To refine the flow just a bit and move to a level of tuning the way we conceive changes is a way to play with this charge from the moon. If not sometimes Aries can get us to feel temporarily satisfied using duct tape when we could have thought through it and realized today wasn't the day to do plumbing. Choosing to affect change in the deeper arenas that need it is harder but longer lasting. There is no getting around the things that you were feeling and dealing with this weekend and early in the week, what are small, easy and basic things you can do or not do? We have to start illuminated and just get better at it to paraphrase Krisnamurti.

The next eclipse cycle is this fall, what we set now carries us through until there. Evolving our consciousness happens one day at a time; just admitting that we know we don't know and we're still willing to try is a huge action.

We get a grounding Taurus Moon shift early in the day. Now we can implement those ideas. Also we have a sense of vision that is enhanced if we see it by a sense of beauty. Pure beauty is far simpler, the elements of nature give us this example combining the basic and the exquisite in a harmony. Those lifestyle shifts have to have a place at home even if you're a traveler.

Foods, changes in arrangements of living space, clothing choices, are examples of daily things we can bring awareness to and genuinely alter the big picture. It's about setting the resonance of the grandiose harmony that we want in those simple regions of our lives. Tonight we when we are in groups there is a sense of healing. Sharing food is one of the oldest ways of smoothing out territory that has been ruffled with family and friends; we are only as good as our last laugh and kiss.

The moon again aspects the close combination of Uranus and Mercury today. It gives a mental spark to the normally thick though pleasant energy of Taurus. It is the home surroundings that we leave and return to with the rhythm of our day. So shifting how it sounds, feels and smells can have results on how we move in the outside world. Heightening the ability to rejuvenate when at home, bringing the energy of community and sharing laughs are vital. Homes do have a personality and the need to be fed. It's a lunar phase that has potential for deep quality exchanges. A knowing and gentle bit of eye contact and touch can sometimes impart more truth then hours of dialogue.

Much of what passes for information in the media is fooling us all the time and this weekend could generate some headlines in this category. In the personal sphere we can use it to channel out some of what needs to be said. Don't hide behind the label of, "just being honest". There is always a way to speak the truth so that it is honest and obvious without being injurious. If you take conversations to this level you be ready to receive the backlash as well.

The truth is a tricky thing; the best exchanges are when both parties can see it not bound in their own judgments and conditions. There are some basic truths that get trampled every day; it's up to each of us to uphold honor and freedom for all in our own small world every day.
