At the onset this week has some direction. There is the ability to 'get a grip on it'. It's what we do with it that matters. To use the grip metaphor, how do you hold onto what you call your life? Is it like you can barely keep it all in your arms, like cuddling a cat, juggling knives? We often think in limited directions,positively this is how large projects or plans come into being. We chunk the big idea into small pieces. Use the grace and strength of an archer, firm resolve, take a second and sense your mental posture. The good archer even with a tightly strung bow, all force used to pull it back, finds some ease before gently letting go of the string. This Monday is all about mental posture.

The shift from Sagittarius to Capricorn is drastic, today also has the Venus/Uranus conjunction. Outer planetary aspects like this cast flavor out for days, not just in the minutes it happens. This aspect mixes the source of inspiration and beauty, Venus, with the well of revolution, Uranus, in the sign of the psychic realm Pisces. Antennae are up for the week in the arena of Love and how we view it.

Divine or sacred love gets talked about a lot lately, often more flighty and esoteric then in the terms of daily usable tools. This week we can embrace different methods of communicating love and caring. Oh yeah so easy to think down in the gutter, yeah you can experiment with romantically creative options. Some of the real work can be done on ourselves, yeah it's cheesy but how do you love yourself? Is there a lot of foreplay? Do you take yourself for walks on the beach, share jokes and intimate moments?

Another arena for the brave is looking for the common link in those that really piss you off and push all the buttons. Can the tuning of love and compassion survive here? For me I was assigned the task by a teacher to try and love Dubya, I'm trying real hard to love that guy, as they say in Texas, "it ain't easy".

For the Capricorn and Taurus natives this is a day you feel all the tools are with you and working properly. The format is evident and you need to get some work done. The flipside for those of us is that the communication of things of a practical nature don't pack that sizzle. Even the most flighty mind will have some focus though today. Great for getting groups to make some decisions or for persons trying to sort their basic life details out on paper. When we have this mind that sees it cut and dried it's best used when freed from judging each item. When the internal critic rears it's acidic voice and opinion on the state of personal finance or the like, confront it and ask "what can be done right now?" Usually the shallow internal critic will fall away and if there are any constructive ideas they surface without effort.

The Sun in Taurus gives us the daily energetic of appreciating the basic beauty and harmony of life. It's a great month long transit to shift into new eating patterns, physical movement and mental landscapes that give the sense of appreciation. Judgment of the present is usually a result of the mind obsessing about a past that's gone or a future that's yet to be. How we experience the present, what we eat, think, feel defines the cells we have for tomorrow and the thoughts, feelings and actions we take.

Most of the day the Moon floats Void of Course, preparing to head into the heady spheres of Aquarius. Peculating the ideas that haven't been thought, ways of doing stuff that defy the physical limits of cause and effect. A sweet trine of Venus and Jupiter adds to the week's tone of expansion and evolution through how we relate to love itself. Such a tired word in many mouths, love. Maybe it's time to quit relating to it as a noun and get out into the territory of love as a verb and adjective. When people are trashing love and it's pains set at the door usually it's not love at all but the expectations and conditions you place on it. You can't expect one person to satisfy all the needs, not even an intimate friend/family community. It all comes down to how we each individually relate to giving and receiving it.

It's not just new age babble to wonder about the relationship we have to relationships. Do we view people from work, play, or family in a similar manner? The lazy soul just puts new faces on the paper doll manifestations of what these relationships seem to be. Seeing a family member as if you just met them or infusing an acquaintance style relationship with familial caring is an experiment to see if we're living fresh or using the cutouts of the subconscious.

The end of the week we float in theory and possibility. That solid vision earlier in the week where you thought you had it all figured out is at risk every moment with the power of one paradigm shattering thought or intuition. Conversations can go from the practical to the astral in an instant. I always think Aquarius is a party sign because everyone is a little more outside the box, you can get the straightest person to curve and the freak will even get 2 when you add 1+1.

Since the spreadsheet of your life is fresh from midweek throw it up into the mind that now says, "sell it all and move to an island", or some other extreme radical binge. You can discern the place where you mix both and somehow the bottom line becomes a diving board.

Venus and Uranus are waiting for the moon in Pisces, a party we would all want to r.s.v.p. immediately. Definitely great libations. It's a Saturday of intuition and dreaming while awake. We practice sweet speech as words can dive deep and you never know how much you're just pulling out of the astral realm. Everyone is a prophet today, each of us the psychic medium. It's also a great practice to turn this onto yourself, really ask the body what it wants, not the surface cravings and conditionings, but what does it need.

The sign of Pisces is the river of the water signs. Rivers flow both ways, when close to the ocean they are affected by tides. More than 70% of the world's population lives within 50 Km of a river. It's vital, the source of life and nutrients and the flusher of toxins and waste. Pisces makes many weepy and a bit emotionally drunk. Like any altered state you have find a way to flow with it. There are many styles of craft to head out on the water with; you have to match the style with the depth and speed of the currents. To get basic don't try and roll your ocean liner up river and taking your canoe out to sea could be dangerous. This is for the adventurous and brave that want to get the messages, insights and dreams that this transit can bring. For those that are annoyed by the often chaotic and confusing messages on the archetypal channel just keep doing what your doing the waters move with or without our noticing.
