This weeks is pointed towards Friday, not to be pedantic, but it is and it's the full moon in Scorpio there waiting for us. Waxing moons are all about momentum. Early in the week, especially today we can check over the physical systems, make sure we're getting the water, nutrients and down time we need. Often it's so easy to forget how fragile a creature we mammals are. There is just a thin line in the conditions for health and vitality or disease and decay. It goes for the mental and emotional plane also. So today while the answers are apparent to the question, "how am I doing?" we can also see the choices we need to make to stay on the side of that line that allows us vibrancy, growth and creativity. In the evening the moon slips into Libra, early Libra is a great time for intimate diplomacy.

Whenever the moon is in Libra we have the ability to see all sides of situations. Librarians often are in the middle and have difficulty making decisions, this is due to really getting out of the 'I' and seeing the problem objectively. So it's a great transit to mend some wounds, internal or with intimates. It only takes a short few honest and heartfelt minutes of conversation to erase a pile of misgivings. You can hear others needs and communicate your own with more grace. It's best to get this stuff out of the shadows. The coming Scorpio full moon has no patience for those secrets, rumors and gossip. So if you have a skeleton in the closet it's best you dance with it voluntarily the other option is it escapes the closet all on it's own and dances in front of you when you least expect it.

If you complain about someone constantly but haven't taken it directly to him or her now is the time. If you aren't honest with a person and speak about but not TO them you deprive them of what you truly feel and yourself of the integrity of truthfulness.

With the moon in Libra and the biggies, the SUN and NEPTUNE squaring off this could be a bit of a volatile day. Plenty of energy to be sure. It's how you use it. There could be a bit of edginess in peoples psyche, so careful with the jokes meant to just break the ice, they could start and avalanche. Not that it would be a bad thing, we just have the core issues about community right at the surface. It's a good day to survey the condition of your buttons; what irritates you about your environment, but more importantly why? We're not chained to our reality, as humans' adaptability is one of our saving graces. Often we adapt to less then optimum conditions without knowing it, now is the time to make a few subtle shifts that can alter the day to day flow significantly.

Now the full moon is on us. With the nature of momentum it's the time building up that affects us as much as the moment. Like a swelling zit, sneeze, volcano or orgasm; the build up and moment are exponentially more powerful then the instant after release. Tuning to this gathering energy helps us surf it. Acting against it is just setting your thumb under the hammer blow.

Mercury is in opposition to Jupiter today, blending the energies of these two beneficial planets and the signs of Taurus and Scorpio. Your environment may be communicating to you some of the factors that are hindering your expansion. They are often basic, things like attitude. At any point you use the excuse, "that's just the way I am!" You should stop and ask, "but is that the way I want to be?"

It's in our control to evolve at will, the moments we feel helplessly blocked are the exact moments that we can envision another way to deal with that wall before us. Digging and flying are always better options then banging our head against it repeatedly. Jupiter in Scorpio some feel hampers the energy, I think it's a place where the depths of expansive Jupiter can sink down into the core of the subconscious and real expansion can take place.

Ah the full moon, the object of myth and art for, well for as long As we've watched that original T.V., the stars. It's the aspect that even the naysayer comments on. When weird shit is happening people always ask, "Is the moon full or something?" Before meeting with the Sun the moon aspects six planets, spreading out this energy in the plane of human awareness. If you're going to a Friday night soiree you better be ready for friskiness, flirtiness and that type of conversation that can get deep and serious in an instant. Scorpio is not a lightweight element of the zodiac.

It's also a great aspect to go to another level with the lover in your life. If not a time to embrace the lover in yourself. Most tantric disciplines caution against maithuna for 9 degrees before and after the full moon -18 hours-. It's combination of the knowledge that most people don't consciously make love and if not conscious some wild energies have access to you. But if you're conscious, and focused on the connection not the action it's potentially a window for some huge relationship shifts.

Today and tomorrow are like a psychedelic trip, sometimes when you're coming down you have the best revelations or interpretations to your journey. So as the barrage of experience sets off make notes if you need to. Conversations whether internal or public can pack a metaphoric punch and you may want to muse over them later. Mercury has been active this week right through the full Moon so the element of communication is high. Not always what we communicate but often more important what is communicated to us.

What did the full moon leave you with? Like the treasures and junk on the beach after a storm try and take some time today to integrate what you have found out about you. In the sign of Sagittarius the moon offers a mindset that we can absorb some of this and cast off the rest, the goal to get it all working in one direction. The idea that we can evolve every day and attempt to be better human beings is the bedrock of every soul no matter how grumpy. Banker to beggar all have the same access to this internal knowledge. There are as many ways to utilize it as there are humans on the planet. Where the common lines of awareness are that's where we can get concrete with changes we want in our day-to-day pace and how the mind/body/heart can work together or be in a civil internal war. Nothing is really out of our control it's just what you're willing to volunteer for.

This is a day for perspective. So you want that PHD, to finish that novel, take that round the world trip. What is the step you can do right now? With active Mercury squaring Neptune we have plenty of thoughts, try and pull them down. Daydreaming about our desires helps us to formulate them but actually pulling them down into the body so we can take some action actually gets us closer to experiencing them. The Neptune aspects this week have exposed those substances or sensations that do have some control over us. Cravings, desires, binges all arise from the energy of Neptune. So while you're here with that energy look around and see where they grip you. It's possible to pry them off and look at them objectively. No one quits an addiction in a day, but it only takes an instant to turn and head down that path.

It's also a day here in 'merica that we call Mother's Day. Yeah we all know the motivation$ for most holidays now. BUT the concept, theory and reality of Mother is something we all share. No one got here without one. So if celebrating this blatantly for a day can make us all give and accept mothering energy for the whole year then I say get the biggest loudest card and flowers you can. Moms rule!
