Venus squares Mars today and flavors the rest of the week with this tangling of the feminine and masculine, evident in the outer world but playing at a mirror near you. It's easy to complain about the opposite sex, but not so easy when you realize we're all a blend of masculine and feminine, changing from situation to situation. It's a blend of Aries and Cancer so there will be no ambiguousness, it's going to be blatant. If you don't like what you see, try looking again.

We have the eye for comfort and beauty. Getting the home front in order before the new moon aids in being able to focus the will, the first step to moving towards goals and desires is to clear the canvas and figure out what they are. This would be a great night to soften old scars, breath a fresh spark into a relationship that seems to have lost the fire. The perspective and presence of harmony is always there, it's us that has to align with perceiving it.

This new moon chart potent. Each new moon is played out through the full moon to come and defines also the waning pattern. So it's like the undertone flavor setting for the next month. This has the Sun and Moon in Gemini, we'll be reaching for pens, paintbrushes, guitars, computers all in an attempt to get it down. It's like a mental hurricane, and we all love playing on the beach when a storm is coming in.

The real players on this new moon are Mercury and Uranus squared and Saturn sextile to the new Moon at six degrees. What we think matters, now we have an ear to overhear what the brain is prattling on about while we go about our lives. In actuality what we think becomes matter. So if the internal critique is allowed to ramble around in the subconscious cutting you up now is the time to lobby that perspective to get helpful or get out. Internal dialogue that upholds conceptions about people, places and things should be revisited. If you tell yourself you're not good with your hands and become helpless every-time you have to pick up a tool it's has a lot to do with the subconscious ramblings. Changing them opens us up to learning.

With Saturn in Leo so closely aspecting this new moon the words from the mental can quickly come to the heart plane and become physical reality. It's up to us if it's an inspiring poem that lifts the soul up to learn new things or is a diatribe of past trials that keeps you from expanding.

A great day for spontaneous conversations but also good to get the community together to work on areas that have been full of tension. Use this swift mental energy and fluid tongue to search for new perspective on these log jams. The placement not only greases the ability to project communication but also to receive. We can really hear what it is someone is trying to get across to us. A great time to listen to those who usually don't have much to say as they'll be more looser lipped. These are the people that we should hear out anyway, they've been simmering these thoughts so they aren't just flighty bits of mental fancy but actually deep thought out theories. Listening to someone, really hearing them is a great way to show love, we all need to be heard.

We should really bask and enjoy the early part of today with the moon still in light and flowing Gemini, she'll go into Cancer later in the afternoon and change the tone considerably. Mercury and Neptune trine which gives us some dream communication. Even waking we can have sensations that give us a truly unique perspective, a way at looking at or doing things that can shift our reality with just a subtle change. We all desire change, but you have to be open to it for it to manifest. It's not possible to want just the right amount, adjusting like it's a radio dial. This sends frequencies out through the whole spectrum. Transformation happens at the cellular level, so you can't hold onto part of something being remodeled, it must all survive the demolition of the fresh thoughts of innovation.
