Wednesday we get the kNEW Moon, Tuesday the Sun moves into Virgo, Sunday Mercury also moves into her home sign of Virgo. Before all that on Monday and Tuesday we're all undercover agents inside ourselves. The first few days that intensity of personal investigation and in some cases interrogation will go on. If it feels like the world and not you who is asking all the tough questions realize like the song says you are the world and it's your private guerilla therapy session. The mental plane is sharp and before digesting it must be chewed thoroughly. There is a fine line between advice and criticism and it's been blurred a lot lately. The only thing one can do on a personal level is be clear when we're dishing it out and to stay objective when it's being served to you.

There are always secrets, whether they are never before seen planets, glimpses of an ancient civilization or juicy 'he said she said' from an unlikely source. For teller and receiver it's the sizzle of the secret, the attraction of being 'one who knows' that is irresistible. Electronically in the world we are junkies for secrets. The accidental microphone or caught on cell phone is the juiciest flavor. It's like for a minute the truth is alive when we experience the revealing of it collectively it's powerful to receive that secret as a group. We are all instantly commentators.

How many of those 'secrets' turned out not to be the truth? There's WMD, Saddam and Osama were homies or what 'so and so' said to you know'. Publicly the secret is not retracted as fiercely. Privately how many times do we clean up our mental hard drive from secrets that turned out to be lies. None of us can change the public truth, but the one in the mirror is easily accessible. The test for truth is always how close to the heart it came out whether public or private.

The Sun shifts into Virgo, it marks the last third of the season, where its intensity can still be felt but you know it's waning. It's a focusing of what's been driving the momentum, still plenty of northern burning and southern freezing but the season ebbs. There has been an entourage with the Sun during the tour of Leo. Today with the Moon five placements in LEO. Lots of pieces of emotional shrapnel lying around. Also some smoking piles of passion.

We could all do to look for mental and emotional unexploded munitions. The moon-Mercury mix could facilitate some hard core and heart felt communication. Sometimes we forget that tingles, intuition, wanderings are all communication too. This last waning lunar cycle gave plenty of those. What are the areas where the action went against intuition or a hunch was confirmed?

New Moon. Need we say anything more? No but it's Virgo so let's. The Sun is fresh in the sign and the New moon how tidy. It's a welcome shift in mental activity; circuits physical, mental and emotional that have been unplugged get juice. The slightest adjustments as an object begins momentum have heavy influence on trajectory. So if you can't think before you leap at least think while you leap. This new moon sets the tone for what we will carry into the new season, when full in 14 days she will be eclipsed by the sun.

So being clear about what basic things you want is important. Scanning how your world is put together and realistically address that which needs to change is the order of the Moon. That which is unaddressed will decay and that can spread. Socially it's that time again to reap what has been sown; lately it's a lot of blood. In this lunar cycle no matter how ugly the roots will end up showing.

It is a great lunar cycle to get wild about your diet, take responsibility for every cell that you make. It's so easy to commit metabolic sabotage in our lives, just drinking enough water, moving around and eating as fresh as possible can shift even the most encrusted being.

Many will be seeing flashes just out of their peripheral vision today, sounds and smells that don't orient together. It's a day of energy and spark though. The mental and emotional planes both are crackling. Speech can be sharp, run enough adrenalin through anyone's system and the babbler inside comes out. Notice what and how things are said when large and small events boil today. Sometimes a single word or expression can be the key to what is really being communicated. Any piles of things that have been staring at you can be dispatched so easily you'll wonder why you didn't do that weeks ago.

Calculations and rechecks always seem like dry ideas. But we are doing it all the time. The subconscious is a constant subtotal of our experience here, who we think we are, who we think other people think we are...There have been moments the last few days that we've all been able to peek into that subconscious spreadsheet, the magic cap is about to come off so now would be the best time to get the internal books in order. We're all going to be too busy to deal with accounting soon.

This could be a breakthrough day. Maybe it hasn't been truly possible for there to be peace on earth, rough calculations say that a second hasn't gone by in the last 200 years that somebody wasn't being murdered somewhere. So the only guaranteed way that we can get peace in our world is to put peace in our world. Friends, family, intimates, all these kind of gatherings are infused with a sense of harmony, sincerity this weekend, revel in the simple. This is peace on earth and no bumper sticker or UN resolution can make it happen. That's the good part we can just experience it and that makes it real.

Still I've got some expectations about some news this weekend that may get trotted out as a grand healing between warring parties.

For those Saturn return people, aged 28-30, 56-60,84-86, you can have a positive feeling toward the trials of the last year, it's always a lesson but the knowledge you've gained will form the rest of your life.

Venus has been a player this week, conjuncting Saturn, squaring Jupiter, and now opposing Neptune. Venus isn't just the babe in the flowing robes, that's the easy to relate to vision of what is beautiful in all. She also is the instiller of beauty, the rush of fresh ideas like Monsoon Rivers. With Neptune here she could lend new visions to old attitudes that are some of our deepest passions. It can come from the dream realm or in the obsessed focus of our attention, but when you realize it you think it's from another dimension.
