The moon is still fresh from being new last weekend as we start the week. Waxing away in Scorpio. By early Tuesday morning the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus and Jupiter will all be in Scorpio. Wahoo! Pass the myrrh scented body rub! Happy birthday Scorpions! To just highlight the sexy stereotype of the Scorpio Solar transit would be amiss and I don't want to set you up for expectations that will crash.

The deeper nature of Scorpio is to see behind the veil to the depths of yourself, others and the workings of things great and small, theory and practice. So this fresh moon is no so innocent, has a dense flavor to it and will expose the cracks in the foundation whether you're willing to look or not.

On the world stage nasty secrets and subversions continue to squirt out. We can only hope for a great truth letting, though I think few are prepared for that really to go down, "why did the towers fall down?"is still a question few are ready to ask.

By the end of the day Monday we have two planets switching signs, a major square between heavies and a whole new energy we haven't felt for a while. Mars and Venus have been creeping on each other and have a conjunction this week in Scorpio. Today is a day to sense this new energy alignment and tune up. It's going to be here for a month, could stir up some deep shit and the bottom line is the stars don't care if you notice, they'll notice you anyway.

The moon slips into Sagittarius on Tuesday giving us a hint of direction as we chart through the depths. Venus moves into Scorpio and shortly after passes over Mars. This will take all week to activate and has been building up for weeks. Internally we have a peek at the way we mingle the masculine and feminine aspects of our being. We all need projection and receptivity, rough and smooth, nurturing and scolding. It's a not so gentle reminder that we are all balls of contradiction and the only path is getting them to dance in harmony.

On the macrocosm the potential for melding together visions is high, whether that's in relationships, bands, companies or countries. Now is a time when things will come up, skeletons can dance free of the closet. It's best they are introduced then to have them just dance out as a surprise to everyone. Couples can see their relationship to relationship in this transit. That is how you view the role of lover no matter whose face is on the poster. Being clear with what that role means to you can free up some of the judgments and expectations that have surrounded it. Leaving the arena of relationship clean and able to just reflect the people in it and not all the issues surrounding it.

Under the Sagittarius moon on Wednesday Jupiter and Saturn square off. They are two of the most potent planets in our skies, Jupiter the essence of expansion and Saturn the ultimate in contraction and limitation. Sounds like a mighty tug of war. The opportunity is to clearly see the contradictory forces in our lives, internally and how they play out externally. It combines Saturn in Leo and Jupiter in Scorpio so hidden impulses and desires could erupt to challenge some of the restrictions of the heart.

They can be complimentary; when the crunch of contraction pulls you in and attempts to paralyze use the internal volcano to take some actions no matter how small, even a walk around the block, to reset your mindset. If the explosion of expansion threatens to split you apart molecule by molecule cling to Saturn and the strength of the heart to gain some bearing.

The balance sheet is delivered late Thursday evening with the moon moving into Capricorn. If reality has been a bit too dramatic and techno-color now there is a vision of it in black and white. The balance and loss sheet of our reality. Bottom line is that we were gifted with billions of cells forming out bodies to get in here and when we leave it all returns to dust. That's the miracle so no worries the astral accountant will make sure it balances to zero at the end. What to do with this time in the middle?

Here is what we call our life, and if under the stark light of Capricorn, filtered through the depths of Scorpio you see some discrepancies now is the time to take action. A good measure is if your overall energy, in the relationship or job makes you consistently drained mind, body and soul, then it's not adding up. Working on anything can make you tired but shouldn't drain you. Sometimes the instant you address an abscessed tooth, dangling partnership or past due account you instantly gain some uplift in energy. It always seems a huge path out of the doldrums but small CLEAR adjustments have a big payoff the next couple of days.

We're still getting the bottom line energy from the Capricorn moon on Friday. The Sun also dances with Venus today, always a sweet aspect of the year! In Scorpio it will send off some deep vibe. Those that challenged themselves and relationships to come into the present moment and evolve to reflect the now can now actualize that in action. Say and due the things in the heart that you think about but don't blurt out or act on. If you have the conversation with someone in your head or with a third party more than five times without really telling the person it's about you're bullshitting yourself. Take a deep breath and spit it out, ask for grace and roll the dice. The worst is that the air is cleared, the best case scenario is that it's now scented with truth, understanding and the sweet smell of potential!

Saturday ends the monthly visit from the accountant, doing the bookwork of our lives in a few directed hours a day frees the mind up from worrying about it constantly, it's truly a waste of synapses. A good reason to have cleaned up around our lives this week is that Mercury turns Retrograde today and won't go Direct until the 17th of November. It's backpedaling and reviewing in Scorpio so it's going to be a potent and deep retro cycle.

It's one of the most maligned aspects of astrology, yes machines can mutiny, messages and communication can be foggy, BUT things that you have overlooked for a long time, simple things, like a rock in your metaphorical shoe can be discovered now. These small observances can have lasting benefit. We so often get used to pain and frustration in our lives without seeking to discover its source. Usually it's very simple and often just the awareness causes the shift. Of course you're free fight Mercury; to make lots of decisions, attempt to get the bottom line drawn on long standing projects, sign papers, schedule lots of meetings.

Maybe frustration is your fuel. For the rest of us it's a great opportunity to really check all things and communications for their depths. It's only a couple of weeks and everything can buy time under the banner, "let's table it and get some more research."

On Sunday we wake with the moon in Aquarius, all that bleak black and white is now covered with a colorful haze that is full of, "what if", "how does that work", and "why not try...?" For Aquarius natives it's natural, for the rest of us it can be disorienting.

It's a vision that all things are possible and that even gravity is a theory. It's the sign of brainstorms for brainstorms sake, just to blow up a flurry of ideas and emotions for no reason but to explore. Let the being free, really contemplate you're reality as all things are possible, use Hollywood plot twists if you have to so that you feel that there is no area of your life that couldn't undergo a massive transformation. It's like a game of paper dolls using reality as the playground. We come in dust and leave dust; in between we are all potential!
