This week is the second quarter of the Lunar Cycle, the buildup to next Monday's full Moon. This week is an air sigh sandwich. It's starts in Aquarius and ends in Gemini at the bursting point of that full Moon. Between is the week of Pisces, Aries and Taurus. The pace is shifting and brings us through one of the biggest transformational stages of the lunar cycle. It's a quarter each month where we go from a plentiful amount of ideas, real fresh thinking, get to feel it, try it out, internalize it and be ready to give a commentary on Sunday. It's a social season so a lot of it is played out in the public sphere, take care private issue motivations can get ugly played out in public if we're not clear.

Monday we split the day between a sense of intellectual malaise into an emotional and psychic one, as the Moon shifts into Pisces. The last couple of days we've been able to pull all our philosophy and physical reality apart at the seams and examine in as parts and the whole. Now it's a mess of scattered pieces all around. The shift into Pisces will tune the frequency away from the mental, now we feel it all. In a way that's more than the body, all the way into the dreams and intuitions.

It's also the quarter Moon today, so we're just seven days to the full Moon. Now is the time to make some order of this scattered and critical vision we have cast in our lives. What is really important, what is needed, not just the creature comforts but how do we want the mind and body to operate together.

Still in watery Pisces on Tuesday we have two big squares to build off of. Mercury square Neptune and Mars square Saturn. We get communication in the way of our binges, secret passions, some not so pretty. It's best to just observe it and not judge yourself. Everyone has hidden drives; few have the bravery and the luck to discover them. If they aren't in harmony with how you view yourself now is the time to make small shifts and get big results.

Mars square Saturn brings a more vigorous energy to the table. A vibrant but a bit blunt energy about how we physically inhabit the realms of the heart. Saturn has been making a 2-year passage through Leo and is now towards the end. We can see things in his stark light, things aren't always as we see them though, use the Mars in Scorpio to pull passion from the depths, whether it's a person, place or thing that's getting the scythe of Saturn apply equal measures of the bursting energy of Mars to balance it. Take care with discussions, the force of this square can make the tongue unusually sharp and biting.

On Wednesday a big and welcome shift in energy happens in the afternoon, the moon flows into Aries. Now there is some pushing on the cart of our lives. No matter the depths you've gone to there is energy available to push on up. If only for the sake of feeling some momentum. Grab a hold of the vigorous energy and let it sink down into the cellular level. This is the energy you'll ride into the full moon next week. Do give it some direction and try and stay on point, the Aries energy can be scattered, focusing it on a few projects rather then splattering it all around is more beneficial.

On Thursday with the Moon still in vibrant Aries we have a Venus Neptune connection. It blends together the energies of Scorpio and Aquarius. This lends a soft and passionate glance at the deeper drives and motivations we visited this weekend. A vision that isn't as blunt and has a more well rounded view. What are the positives in the negatives, how does working against yourself sometimes lead you to a different and more evolutionary end? We have to assume we're here to evolve so every rock in our shoe has a purpose, each missed bus has a context. It could be as simple as getting us to stop and get present for a minute. So survey recent frustrations for bits of gold.

The Taurus Moon comes to us on Friday evening. If you applied the energy of Aries now you can reap the benefits of a vision that home and heart are in harmony. If you didn't this sign will call for you to do that. We are now just a sign from the full Moon in Gemini so it's not to early to get the house, body, heart and mind aligned with the coming Moon. The shift from Taurus to Aries is abrupt. We still have the veracity of Aries but now the body is paramount, the physical parts of our lives that gives us beauty, that notice the harmony in nature and in our communities are heightened. We have gone through a critical vision the last week and now is the time to pull the focus back and see the harmony in the big picture of our lives. Not for any reason but to observe it, feel it and absorb it.

To begin the weekend Saturday we have the moon still in harmonic vision Taurus and the Sun square Uranus. They only square twice a year and this will flavor the weekend and the next week. Especially for Sagittarius natives. If it happens near your birthday your year ahead is definitely full of the fresh, new and innovative. For the rest of us it's still a great opportunity to get a fresh look at our direction, to tune in to deeper or higher frequencies from the lands of intuitions, angels and talismans. Many times this weekend there will be spontaneous even frivolous outbursts and ideas. Even though they may come in lighthearted conversations doesn't mean they can't be heavy realizations. The 'message' is constantly being broadcast, and like a radio we just have to tune to the waves that are always floating there around us. Take note of these ideas or viewpoints that may arise, we can send them off on the coming full Moon to be actualized in the next cycle.

By Sunday we are in reach of the full Moon. It's a day that sizzles even in the heavier energy of the Taurus Moon. In the evening with the Moon's ingress into Gemini we're at the doorstep. Time to collect up all the waxing moon has brought us and offer it up. A quick review of all the critical looks at your life, intuitions and psychic hits of the week is all it takes. Being present is a gift they say. It doesn't take that much effort, the old school way and still the best is to just shut the eyes, enjoy the breath and ride it for a while. The universe is in constant flow, the more we're like sailing ships the better the currents and more enjoyable the ride.
