The waning cycle of the moon is upon us, it's easy to see the dust, stacks of things and for some whole rooms of clutter. It's internal and external for all but for some the internal is more acute. The week starts with the moon in Virgo and we'll be able to see the things we need to sort in our internal or external attic. Mid-week diplomacy reigns with Libra moon. We get the monthly Scorpio moon transit to spice up the weekend. The Mars /Pluto conjunction on Saturday could bring some blasts in the news that push towards only one direction, the Moon is in Scorpio so it may not be all it seems.

To start the week Monday we have the sense that it's all do-able. Even the overwhelming and insurmountable are possible if you have a list. In grandiose terms; if you have to slay a dragon, ford a raging river and ride through the night to get to work it's still seen clearly once you have the list. First: slay dragon, then get to the river...

We can use this mindset to sort through stuff without getting distracted by it's emotional content or the wandering mind. Taking time to sort stuff just plain makes sense and space. Once you have space internally or externally it's just a vessel for potential.

Mars and Saturn form a trine today and combining their energies in two of the fires signs; Sagittarius and Leo. For Saturn returnees you'll get a blast of energy on those core issues, take heed of the messages of the physical body. For all it's a clarifying of that building unity of that message of Saturn passing through Leo, that feelings and senses of the non physical heart have symbiotic instant karma style relationship.

Tuesday the pace and sensitivity shifts abruptly with the Moon moving into Libra. Now we have a few days to cultivate the environment we need with others to formulate our plans. It's all in the air of openness and diplomacy, truly if it's a solution that's good for all it's a decision that's easy for everyone to make.

Midweek on Wednesday the moon is in amicable Libra, she aspects Venus and Jupiter today so there window is wide open for some evolution and expansion in relationships. More accurately our relationship with our relationships. Like dancing all you have to do is feel for the groove, for the beat, the truth in a relationship and the steps come out effortlessly. Simple pure moves are always better than practiced flash.

Moon and Sun square up on Thursday, it's the flag dropping on the last quarter of the lunar cycle, now we're in the darkest stretch. We have access to the shadowed, the dream world and can sift and sort the flotsam and clutter of our lives. It doesn't have to be dreary though, the moon quickly heads into Scorpio also on Thursday. Remember October/November when we had so many placements in Scorpio there was and upwelling of secrets public and revelations private. It's also a lunar transit when we can use that cynical but critical and frivolous but serious part of our being. Rituals can be effective and heartfelt and deep personal talks can be articulated as spontaneous and intuitive.

Our Friday carries the flavor of the Scorpio moon and Venus sextiles Jupiter giving a nice frosting to it all. Our relationship with beauty can be refined. Not just as in physical looks, we use beauty in our language to describe things and feelings; 'that's a handsome profit you've made', 'pretty good progress today', 'I had an exquisite time'. So it's not so much beauty in the eyes of the beholder but one who observes beauty is imbibed with it.

The waning cycle gives us all a chance to look under the hood of our beings, see the workings without huge judgments. We can use this discerning mindset along with the Venus/Jupiter dance to make adjustments in what is called, 'our issues'. You have to activate them everyday, imagine any day you could just let them float away, it's possible once they are identified.

The weekend kicks off Saturday with the Moon still in Scorpio and a once a year transit as Mars rolls over Pluto. If it sounds heavy it is. We should take care with conflict, truly choose your battles carefully and don't let them choose you. They are both in Sagittarius so the scent of fanaticism is in the air; that idea that there is only one course of action or that is what many will have you believe. We can also sue this transit to challenge the internal conflicts you may have, as they are now exposed.

On the international stage we could see some major saber rattling going on, hard core diplomatic moves that are framed in this mindset of no other choice. Often in today's world when politicians point one direction it's prudent to look the other way to see what you're being distracted from.

The Moon shifts into Sagittarius on Sunday and heading into Sagittarius. She will pass over the Mars/Pluto point early next week but some of that energy will be released today also. If you do have some stalemates in your life today could be the day they break open. It's sometimes in our control and sometimes not, the only part we can adjust is our reaction. So if confronted with conflict realize there is always time for a breath and another perspective and in that instant decisions could be made that change trajectory completely. Words or actions that seem simple could be the fuse that sets it off. They say that you have to live with reality or reality will come to live with you.
