Mon Jan 22 - Sun Jan 28MoonWeek Pisces thru Gemini
With Venus and Saturn there is no doubts about where your love is or isn't. You can see the bedrock, the illusions are gone, and its best in love to know that where you are investing your energy that it's being received. Combined with the Mercury and Jupiter pairing it could be a great passage to have some conversations on the subject of love and perceptions of beauty. Get outside the box with it, free of normal attachments and look for the core of your desires. Be sure you're not attached to relationship itself but the person you are in it with. Under the Pisces moon reflect on dreams and intuitions that came over the weekend, little hints to what your core being longs for. Subtle changes now can lead to transformations on a larger level by the full moon next week. Here on Tuesday the momentum picks up. Anything languishing the last few days better progress or it will digress. Stir the pot and see what's at the bottom. We do need to take care in Aries transits that we start what we can finish, sometimes it's best to put the energy into completing something that's been dangling rather then start a new piece entirely from scratch. Aries Moons are a burst of energy so it's also a great time to flush things out of the body with some vigorous movement. It's a great climate to slough off the timid and go for the confidence channel. It's a matter of mindset, even doing something you've never tried you can have the attitude that the least you will do is learn something, it can be free of conditions and expectations. Mid-week on Wednesday we are still under the cardinal fire Moon. If you didn't apply the fire to the projects going in your life do it now. Look to what you started yesterday and yoke your attention to it, get to the frame of mind that you see how it will be completed at the same time you get the conception of how you will begin it. We have this 'no time like the present' energy and it's a gift for sure. To just use it brings it down and invigorates us on the cellular level. Those with Sun/Moon in Aries can be plotting on what they want to turn the corner on by the Full Moon next week. It's a great time to show that internal critic or naysayer that projected faults are no reason to stop from trying something that is normally beyond your bounds. We get the monthly lunar transit through Taurus starting on Thursday it's also the day of the quarter moon, now just a week until the full Moon and it's building. The intensity will reach out and the momentum is palatable. In the Taurus moon we can survey the home environment, firstly the body, out only real home, giving an honest look at where it's at. Not with the judging mind over the status of your belly or ass, but what is the general health condition. Is it more vigorous in the morning or evening, what foods attract you, is there an area you want to evolve? Approaching self transformation from an attitude of core healthy and beauty rather then the surface vision gives more personal compassion and allows us to have the mind/heart posture to really make some lasting changes. The more loving you are to yourself the more you can be towards those in your world. On quarter moons a cool exercise is to leave yourself a note to read on the coming Full or New Moon. In this case it's the coming full Moon in Leo. It doesn't have to be a new age-y affirmation, maybe just a list of what the Taurus moon brought up in your perception and the things you want to focus on. It will sink back into the subconscious and on the full Moon next week you can pull it out and see what ruminations came about with it. Friday is a bit of a land mine centered in the head and body. Under the influence of gentle and beauty in the eyes of the Taurus Moon we have Mercury on top of Neptune and a touch of Venus with Pluto. Mercury and Neptune in the sign of revolution -Aquarius- can be startling. On the personal level conversations and communications of excess and obsessions can spark strange thoughts and exchanges. On the global level we will have disclosures and retorts between confronting parties that could shock bystanders. Threats should be carefully made, as the follow through will be instantaneous. So if you can't walk your talk change your shoes or at least wash out your mouth. Harsh speech can beget some strong ricochets. The Venus/Pluto combo can bring a flip of the coin to all this with some inspiration in adversity, the way the worst situations give an opportunity for the best in people to come out. Bravery in the name of love in the face of callous actions will be in the news. Inside all of us lives a Rosa Parks, able to take small courageous actions that don't confront but just lay out a powerful, compassionate statement with simple presence. The weekend begins on Saturday with the end of the Taurus Moon and then it quickly moves into energetic Gemini. While it electrifies the mind it can also be pulled down into the body to finish some of what was conceived earlier in the week. It's also a good idea to keep a note pad or voice recorder with you at all times as good ideas and magnificent gestalts rain down from our mind ceaselessly. There are always two sides to situations and under the Gemini transit there can be four or five. So jot them down and peruse them with this crackling mental condition. It's a great time for troupes, companies and committees to brainstorm and get some fresh looks at areas that have been log jammed. Venus makes her way into Pisces and we have an ESP and dream world infusion on the plane of esthetic beauty and art. For the next month allow the subliminal to transmute the artistic and wonderful to your conscious mind. Especially in this often ugly and violent world the only space we truly control is behind our close eyes. And as Max Planc the eloquent Nobel Physicist said, "...when you change the way you look at things the things you look at change." The end of the week, Sunday, is always a time for reflection, with the Gemini Moon it can be an excellent time for writers and those that normally don't play with words to do so. Gathering up the thoughts and feelings here on the waxing moon can elevate one's ability to integrate them in a grander context next week with the Full Moon. What is it that is important to you, not just on the surface but what is it you want? If you desire a better situation on the physical plane is it just a better house and more money? No it's the feelings and experiences that they allow you. Getting in touch with the deeper drives puts you in a better position to make the decisions about mundane actions that can get you there. The true motivations are much more simple and exquisite then the trivial trappings of the physical we seem to chase. Mercury is opposite Saturn today. It's a holiday for affirmations combining Aquarius and Leo, a particularly great time to take interpersonal communication to a new level. A simple fresh phrase or feeling uttered or written today can have deep and immediate effect on the physical Plane. When messing with Saturn you have to be careful what you wish for and be clear. It's easy to say you want to be taller and then as in the folktale the world around you shrinks. So tune desires to reality and you tune reality to what you desire.
