Monday the week starts with the Moon and Sun both in Aries, if you can't get some energy now you should really check your structure. There might be something wrong between food choice and elimination, it's as simple as quality of fuel for the engine. A great way to use this crackling fire energy is to get your home and surroundings in order for the new moon. Touch all those piles of crap and get some of it to the thrift store or garbage can. The less clutter whether psychic or physical that the moons rays fall on the less static has a chance to grow between your thoughts.

It's still the dark of the moon even though full of energy and there are some portents of a few secrets to bleep out, so if you happen to be a high ranking official testifying before congress watch your words, they could come back to sting and accuse instantly. It can also bring new styles of 'individual freak outs' not just suicide bombers but something more pedestrian from people not normally considered 'war combatants'.

Tuesday is the charm of the week: NEW MOON! It's happening in the late degrees of Aries (27degrees) check for it in your chart. It's the New Year for the Lunar cycle an excellent time for breaking out the 'you' that's wanted to get to the surface and be the 'you' we all see. Careful with resolutions, best to be clear with yourself about something that is already inside you not something external. If you can think about an evolution you want for yourself whether physical/emotional/mental it's there, like a young plant you have to nurture it, not just write it on the fridge and expect it to happen.

On the home and relationship front it's a great time to re-introduce yourself to your lover, get that sense you just met them, allow the mystery to develop. Even if you've known someone for decades there are still mysteries there. It's our mind frame that makes it seem that we know everything about someone. So energizing that sense of exploration can give intimate relationships a freshness that makes them effortless. Good relationships use more play and not work as is currently popular. If you feel you need to work on your relationship try playing with it first.

Wednesday the Moon slips into Taurus and we can actualize this fresh moon energy in projects that are physical and bring an instant sense of brilliance into the home or body. It's a great moon to put in that garden, even if you're a city dweller getting some plants going is some positive foresight that will pay way more emotional and mental dividends not just the fruit, flower or vegetable that they produce. Watching something develop from seed or chute to fruition is like keeping a psychic magnet around to reset you everyday, tune you into the subtle pace of nature. It's the pace that all the other realities we have rest on. The sooner we tune into it the quicker we flow with it.

Thursday the week gets chatty and public. Especially waxing Gemini moons get the lips babbling. It's a great time to remind ourselves to not say things about people that we don't say to them. The Sun and Pluto make an aspect in the fire signs of Aries and Sag today. It takes time to release this; the volatile nature of this can bring about rash acts of violence to expand personal gain. It's easy to point to the Middle East but there are plenty of warlords from the white house to the sands of Persia that have personal vendettas going. Also today Saturn turns direct. For you Saturn returnees, you know who you are, this is a burst of energy as it's the last time Saturn is retrograde as it passes through Leo. You're in the home stretch! So you have until September to get your world in order and make those big changes that you've been wondering about. There is nothing permanent, no job, no relationship, no band, and no house. Use this time to really survey your surroundings and get a bead on what it is you really want and what sort of day to day pace suits your life.

Friday The moon is still slicing through Gemini and the Sun shifts into Taurus, happy birthday Bulls! It gives us some traction that many have been hungry for. A sense that no matter the situation of your life you're getting some astral help in perceiving the innate nature of order and beauty in the process. Surrender is truly that, like jumping in the water if you try and hold on it can hurt, you just have to really release and trust. The most important bond is with the person in the mirror. Find some common ground there and walk it.

Saturday we have the Cancer moon, it's the most sensitive time of any month for most of us. Tender spots that are on any of the planes come up and vie for your attention. Heed these messages from the body/mind/soul as carefully as you do those of your vehicle. Often people will let the 'warning lights' of the astral carry on forever, but if it was in their car they pull into the garage right away. You are your vehicle so treat it as the exquisite cellular spaceship that it is. If your heart hurts feel it but be glad that it feels something, there are a lot of hearts that are dysfunctional out here and don't feel at all. It's a whole weekend with the Moon in Cancer a time when the psychic and emotional channels are wide open. Don't flinch and turn away, this is what life is about!

Mercury trines Saturn, freshly direct, today. It's a sweet aspect in fire signs, great for that meeting or any initiation of contractual or group agreements. For artists and writers it's a day to lock yourself up and produce, not worrying about the result but just get as much as you can in the basket and worry about sorting it out later.

Mercury also trines Jupiter today, almost on the degree of Saturn too. This only amps up the energy of expansion and production from the depths within us. Book that studio time now as you're going to want it. This will release off into next week but like sailing you have to have your sails up to use the wind. Check in that you haven't confused personal goals and desires with the communal. The clearer you are the fuller your sails can unfurl.

For organizations, I'll be clear, political or public organizations this is a 'Y' in the road, you either clear up obstructions and directions that you're heading that aren't in harmony or you're going full speed on the rocks. These are 'instant karma' flashpoints so a misread press release or an off hand remark can explode on you. Attenuating your goals for the greater good gives you nothing to worry about, go against this grain now the resistance will be instantaneous and overpowering.

Sunday we have the Cancer moon still pulling emotions out from our core. You have to be willing to listen to this internal broadcast to get it. Processing is a pop psychology technique but isn't anything but babbling about yourself if you don't put some initiative to get to the core issues. It's not easy but under the Cancer moon as least they are exposed, the brave enter into this personal dialogue the weak talk to someone else besides themselves.

Mercury has been active this week and aspects Neptune today, with the backdrop of the weepy moon it could be an explosion into our passions and addictions or an exposure of why they are there and a shift out of them. Either way we're all going to get the message, whether you receive it or not is up to you.

Venus and Mars have been building to this square that happens today. It takes a few days to discharge and it works interiorly on us all in our blend of the Masculine and Feminine in each of us and in the outer world in the play of the energies of projection and reception. It takes place in practical signs of Virgo and Pisces so the ability to immediately integrate it is there. Anytime is a good time to observe your personal blend of the Masculine/Feminine but today it can give you some real insight you can use about yourself. We all have both, we all need both, some moments require more projection and others reception. So it's not a static tuning but more a relationship with that constant yin/yang or Shiva/Shakti in us all.
