It's the dark of the lunar phase, is it a moon that's half new or half full? It's a matter of perspective. You have to respect the waning moon no matter which half you feel. It's the tone of the week, the ebbing of the tide, the taking stock of what's real in your arena. Venus moves into Leo this week and the Sun squares Uranus, so the outer planets have some commentary to lay out. It's evolve and thrive or stagnant and die, everyone has a choice.

Monday we have a bit of the Capricorn energy to start the day, the weekend brought some stark vision on your accounts and contractual obligations. By the end of the day the Lunar channel shifts into Aquarius and we're all philosophers, full of bonus ideas that are fresh thinking. If you didn't make the transition you may have some ruffled feathers if the areas you're stiff in get challenged. Try and evaluate the new ideas and advice on their own without the judgments on the messengers. It's all the cosmos talking.

Mars trines Jupiter in fires signs this morning and this flavor will disperse throughout the week. On a personal level it can be a huge shift and burst of creative energy. If you happen to be involved in the global violent battle for ideological and resource control it's going to be adding powder to the fuse, y'all could just stop that fanatic shit. This TaliBabtist angle is getting old for people of all nations.

The conflicts on the globe will reach some new heights, bigger bombs, more dead and the like. As individuals all we can do is to put out evolutionary energy that gives the revolution a good name. Basically whatever actions you take shouldn't leave a body count behind, instead you could trail understanding, fresh ways of living and old boundaries crossed in your wake. It's obvious that no one wants to blow themselves up or blow up others. It's a state of desperation, of insecurity. Whether a super power or a sleeper cell all sides of violence have chosen the low rode. Take this powerful Jupiter/Mars trine and elevate you and those around you. Take care of the dots and the lines will take care of themselves.

Tuesday we're fully in Aquarius, the sign of outside the box, of the eternal flow of ideas and creation, the essence that there is always a cycle, it started before our lives did and will continue after our brief visits here to carbon forms. Today Venus goes into Leo. Could it get any better? The vibe of Venus isn't just a regal empress on her throne, she gets some work done also and can wear combat boots, piercings and tatt's if she has to. Inhabiting the sign of the heart until the middle of next month she'll be opening the doors of our hearts. Not just the hallmark heart but the seat of our passion for person, places and things. Offering a chance to rejuvenate the desire to live for high ideals and morals and not simply exist as a complicated organism that wants to consume but a being that's divine and made of light. Look for areas of your creative and emotional life that need a boost, there will be extra reserves of energy to polish up and tune these zones.

Jupiter just touched with Mars yesterday and today is opposite the Sun. So if you were on the tip to use this Jupiter energy to expand your internal horizons here is another gem of cosmic juice for you. Jupiter is in Sag and today with the Sun in Gemini it can grease the way for you to declare to yourself first and then the outside world what areas of life you want to travel to. Of course if you're stuck in a rut of killing and violence to get your point across you'll have the initiative, but really the rest of us are just waiting for you to give that up and get down to creating a global community that's harmonious, evolutionary and where all the babies eat and get to grow up nurtured and educated. Wednesday the moon flows into Pisces the sign of rivers, it's a change from the lofty position of Aquarius into the psychic realms of Pisces. The doors to the community mind are wide open. Special note of dreams, whether awake or asleep, premonitions and intuition are high. It's helpful to jot down notes on some things as it may be a few days before these hints fall into place.

Thursday the moon still moves through Pisces and to play with it is proactive. Yoga Nidra is the science of dream yoga; basically relaxing yourself into sleep, compelling the subconscious to let the conscious in on the dream, remembering it is just the first step. The idea is to get to the level where you can have conscious dreaming, not just a little bit but actually start being the director of these fabulous byproducts of having a human mind and heart. We all have to sleep and why not do some yoga while there. More mundane benefits are a fuller sleep pattern and the result can be a more refreshed body and a more lucid and creative mind.

Friday the Sun in Gemini squares the Pisces Moon, it's the last quarter and now it's a week until the new Moon. Time to jump on it and clear the deck, open the doors and windows, clean off the altar, make space in the body/mind/heart for the coming new moon. It always creeps up on us so it's best to get on it. As the darker recesses of the psyche are exposed we can see parts of others and ourselves that are difficult to look at. Like monsters in the closet a few deep breaths and some present moment vision pulls them into perspective and they don't seem so dark and scary.

Saturday the Moon goes into Aries and a week of wandering in the mind and soul gets a bit of traction and explosive direction. It's a great energy for starting projects or infusing one that is languishing with some fresh energy. The whole weekend the Moon is in Aries so you can really tear off some big bites, chew them properly and digest them if you stay focused.

The Sun and Uranus square off. Yes not just your anus but everyone's anus. It's a powerful pairing, the planet of revolutionary development and the Solar influence. It's a day when some strange and wonderful communication is going to be blasting out on all levels. It will flow over the whole weekend.

Sunday the Moon is still in Aries and this bursting energy can and will be put to use. Either you stay present and focused and get a lot done, areas cleaned, painting finished, column written and garden weeded or that part of Aries that's a bit scattered gets you and it ends up you started fifteen things and finished none. Still at least you started something. With the Aries moon being a waning moon some will take the opportunity to tune up their inner self. It's not as easy as tuning someone else but far braver and more productive. Remember critique takes no creativity. Instead of just bitching about what's evil and wrong use that energy to put out something that's divine and feels right.
